Jeffrey (Jeff) Katz is a recognized leader in the travel and e-commerce industries with a passion for the environment. He was the founding Chairman and CEO of Orbitz, CEO of Swissair, President of the global travel reservation computer network SABRE, and a long-time senior executive at American Airlines. A veteran of start-ups, he also founded Journera, a machine-learning based software company aimed at making traveler journeys seamless. He is one of few executives who has also led companies in other industries, serving as CEO and Executive Chairman of LeapFrog Enterprises, a technology-based children’s product company, as well as CEO of the web-based comparison shopping company, Nextag. Jeff holds degrees from MIT, Stanford, and the University of California.

David Baldwin joined SCF Partners in 1991 and leads the firm’s energy transition initiatives. During his time at SCF, David has supported the creation and development of multiple public energy service companies. During his previous career as an engineer with Union Pacific Resources, David was involved in developing and commercializing the horizontal drilling techniques that ultimately led to the US “shale revolution”. David’s civic activities in Houston include Greentown Labs, the Baylor College of Medicine, and the Center for Pursuit. He helped create TexE, a partnership between 5 Texas universities, MIT, and Greentown Labs to inspire and train future entrepreneurs and leaders focused on energy and climate innovation. David earned his degree in Petroleum Engineering and his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
